Allmyth officially started in December 1998 at the tables of Glass City Games in Toledo Ohio. We used the 2nd edition of Dungeons & Dragons. A storyteller named Sonja gathered heroes together because she didn’t just want to hear of tales of great deeds, she wanted to witness and report those deeds herself! She shared with her heroes the tales she heard of pirates and a haunted house.
This was Book One.

In October 2003 we returned to Allmyth with the University of Toledo on campus gaming club UT-BASH. We used the 3rd/ 3.5 edition of Dungeons & Dragons. In Book Two, Sonja returned to gather another set of adventurers to challenge the monsters coming out of the Elf controlled Trenthurst Forest and raiding human activity near Eastwood Keep.

Book Two campaign lasted four years, culminating in high level characters stopping a plot by the god of evil to force the demon Orcus to capture the god of the dead so as to unleash Cthulu on the world.

Book three began April 2014 as a stand in for D&D Encounters at Checkmate, a Friendly Local Games Store in Toledo Ohio. We started using 3.5 edition Dungeons & Dragons, but switched to 5th edition.
In Book Three, the action takes place 16 years after the end of Book Two. A talking raven named Culain gathered our heroes to look for Merlin the magician, who has been missing for many years. In time the Long Night occurs, when the sun is absent from the sky for 30 days. The world is different now, (we switched game editions) and there is a reason for it, but even the remaining gods are unsure what happened.
This quest continues even now…
